Handling your infant comes naturally.

Bath an infant 2–3 times a week, from head to toe. Your infant girl or boy will have a healing umbilical cord. Wait until these areas heal and the cord falls off before putting your baby in an infant water tub. Sponge-bathe your baby for a few weeks. Supplies include,

  • Baby shampoos/soaps
  • Soft washcloths/towels
  • A warm blanket to lay on
  • Baby lotion

When bottle-feeding, you can learn how to feed with ease. Create an every 3-4 hour schedule and a comfortable, quiet and warm place to feed your infant.
